Megan started her journey into the health and wellness field in 2007 when she became a massage practitioner. Since then she has expanded her education to become a registered massage therapist and completed over 500 hours of Yoga Teacher training. Megan has over ten years of experience teaching, where she combines her love of anatomy, movement and self-care for clients.
Megan specializes in Restorative yoga, Hatha yoga and mindfulness practices to help with nervous system regulation. Megan loves to take a functional movement approach using resistance bands and myofascial release to help balance and maintain tissue and muscle health and function. Megan’s classes blend breath, mindfulness, anatomy and a physical practice. Her teachings focus on sharing a love of movement and understanding how the body functions to make empowered choices on and off the mat.
In Megan’s classes she wants you to feel empowered. Empowered to learn and connect with your body, breath and mind in a way that feels accessible. She hopes you feel able to take what you need from the practice and make it your own.
