Sandra

San is passionate about providing accessible yoga and movement to the masses. As the founder of KO Yoga, she partners with corporate sponsors, and procures funding and cool spaces to bring free yoga classes to the community.

San’s yoga approach is fun, nurturing, and inspiring, emphasizing the importance of balance in life, body, and breath, and promoting self-love as a healing force. She describes herself as friendly, open-minded, and approachable. Her yoga journey is a constant pursuit of growth, something she practices daily and shares with others, believing that every experience is a lesson and that everyone is a teacher.

She earned her 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher training in Baja California, Mexico, delving into Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Chanting, Anatomy, Physiology, Yogic Philosophy, Ethics, and Lifestyle. Furthering her expertise, she studied under Bernie Clark to attain her Yin Yoga certification, a practice she loves deeply. In 2018, Sandra deepened her meditation practice through a 100-hour Shaktipat meditation experience, awakening the Divine energy within.

Outside of her professional pursuits, San enjoys spending time with her life partner and two fur babies, watching sunsets, and being near water. She’s a food enthusiast, passionate about healthy living, discovering new recipes, hiking, and traveling the world in search of fascinating cuisines. When not immersed in yoga and meditation, she’s likely sharing her love of food and family through dinner parties and heartfelt conversations.
