Sandra (“Coop”)

Sandra (“Coop”) first tried yoga as a teenager and found it quickly became an essential part of her wellbeing, both physically and mentally. She loved the quiet that she found in her body and mind during meditative practices, and the strength and flexibility she gained from the physical poses.

After ten dedicated years as a student, Sandra realized her desire to share yoga teachings with others and completed over 500 hours of training in India and Vancouver. She is trained in multiple styles, and often incorporates poses that focus on a balance of strength and ease. Sandra practices full-time as an RMT in KW and loves to educate her patients and teach home-care strategies (most of which strongly resemble her favourite yoga poses).

With her teachings, Sandra hopes her students learn to trust their bodies, open their minds, and experience the loving kindness from self and community that can come with a yoga practice. She strives to make her classes accessible for all bodies, often offering unconventional brain-based movement practices that leave her students laughing as much as learning.
